Join us in March for local artist Brenda Quetzali's workshop into the DIY world of zines. Connect with Avondale Arts opportunities and more
Avondale Arts is an emerging non-profit building creative community across Avondale and our connected neighborhoods. Join us on Fourth Mondays for these monthly meetups and skill-share workshops hosted by Avondale Arts artists, volunteers, and partners. We invite potluck dishes and snacks to share! Plates and Napkins will be provided.
This month:
Help us celebrate the 6th issue of Baby Tomato Zine and step into the DIY world of zines. Brenda Quetzali will guide us through a presentation exploring its rich history. After the presentation, you’ll create your own zine from start to finish! Brainstorming, designing, and learning simple binding techniques to bring your ideas to life. This will be a collaborative activity where participants contribute to one another’s pages creating a zine that reflects both your voice and the shared energy of your community.
